Venture Crew continued:
The group is for youth ages 14 through 20. We also recruit adult volunteers interested in youth volunteer leadership. We work with youth related organizations in Adams County. Any and all youth are welcome to join. Monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 PM at the Adams County Chapter Office at 2439 Broadway in Quincy. Volunteer opportunities are planned throughout the year and are usually arranged for Saturdays. The Venture Crew is supervised by the current AmeriCorps Member serving the Adams County Chapter. Service Projects include the Community Garage Sale, Support Staff at the Fun Run Walk, Assisting at the Babysitter Training Classes, Winterizing Homes, Dogwood Parade and the Safe Kid Games. We are always looking for new opportunities to make our community a better place, the members are asked for their input to develop these opportunities. In Venture Crew, the individual volunteer's interests and talents are exercised as well as the fulfilling experience that comes with being a volunteer
