Logistics Overview (ARC 3068-1)

The purpose of this training is to assist Red Cross paid and volunteer staff to prepare for and carry out the Logistics function in the event of a disaster in the local community, and to initiate the Logistics function on a major disaster operation.
 

PREREQUISITE: Introduction to Disaster Services (ARC 3066)

Training Objectives
 

• Interpret the role and responsibility of the Logistics function on disaster operations.
   
• Use appropriate forms and other resources required for the Logistics function and provide reports as needed.
   
• Identify resources to meet the supply and logistics requirements for disaster operations.
   
• Use Supply and Logistics and Disaster Services--Supply Catalog as resources.
