Any seat not paid 10 days in advance will go to the next avialable person on the waiting list 9 days prior to class.

Adult CPR

Learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in people 8 years and older.   Learn rescue breathing, clearing and obstructed airway, and performing one rescuer CPR for an adult victim.  One
4 hour session.  Fee: $35.00**.

First Aid

First Aid training for everyone!  Learn how to treat cuts, scrapes, bruises, and burns, control bleeding, and minimize shock.  Also, review first aid for injuries to bones, muscles and joints, and sudden illnesses.  Those needing certification need to have a current CPR certificate (Red Cross or equivalent) 4 Hours (Satisfies minimum OSHA First Aid requirements).  One session.  Fee $35.00**.

Babysitting Training

Course trains your people 11 years old and above to prevent accidents, handle emergencies, and to care for and play with youngsters.  Participants also learn how to care for rescue breathing and choking emergencies.  Includes book for use on-the-job.  9 Hours.   Fee $20.00 Includes Text Book, First Aid Kit and Lunch.

A presentation of HIV/AIDS facts and statistics geared for both the community and the workplace.  It will help you to know what are the causes and what to do for prevention.  This class is geared to the age group it is being presented to.

Lifesaving Course

Yopu must be at least 15 years old, tread water 2 minutes using legs only, swim 500 yards by various strokes, and submerge to a minimum depth of 7ft., retrieve a 10 pound object and return to the surface.  Fee $125.00.

This is a must for all the coaches from children to adults.  Sports Safety Training provides basic first aid skill and knowledge needed to care for athletic injuries.  7 Hours.

AED Classes (Automatic External Defibrillator)

This will give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest, until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.  One 4 hour session.
