Mass Care: an Overview is a Basic Disaster
Course that introduces participants to the role of Mass Care on a disaster relief
operation, the services provided by the function, and ways to deliver quality service to
clients.
PREREQUISITE: Introduction to Disaster Service
(ARC 3066)
Training Objectives
- Describe the role of Mass Care on Red Cross disaster relief operations and the services
provided by this function.
- Explain how Mass Care workers deliver quality service to clients.
- Match participants' interests, abilities, and skills with those needed in each Mass Care
activity.
- Develop a plan of action for further involvement with the Red Cross.
