Emergency Assistance II


 

Emergency Assistance II is a Basic Disaster course that helps participants meet the emergency needs of families on an individual basis while assigned to a major disaster relief operation.
 

 

PREREQUISITE: Intro to Disaster Services (ARC 3066) and
  Emergency Assistance I (ARC 3072-1)


Training Objectives
 

  • Provide assistance within regulations and procedures.
     
  • Use the appropriate forms to assist victims.
     
  • Inform victims about government and other disaster assistance programs.
     
  • Conduct follow-up interviews and home visits with victims.
